I worked in pizzerias from Los Angeles to New York for 7 years and Al's Green pizzas are as good as any I've tasted. In Rochester, the quality of a regular-crust pizza is about equal to Pontillo's or Mark's, and a little better than Salvatore's, Pudgie's, Papa John's, Pizza Hut or Domino's The only difference is the price (A large pizza with 4 toppings costs $5 to $10 less than the competition). Service is good, with pizzas ready in 20 to 30 minutes and phone orders ready within 5 minutes of the time promised. Payment is cash only, but less than $20 cash buys enough pizza for a family with enough change to buy drinks. A large number of other foods are available.
